We’re looking for the next generation of talented undergraduates to join our team for an unforgettable 10-week internship. An internship at Pearson is an opportunity to bring your own unique perspective as a learner, together with your academic knowledge, technical skills, and enthusiasm, to help create products used by students like you.
As one of our interns, you will gain a comprehensive introduction to our business. You’ll be assigned to a team and work on real-life projects that bring our products and services to life. On the job training and professional development will be provided to enable you to contribute to the business. You’ll also have direct access to a senior member of the team, as each intern will be mentored to help you make the most of the ten-week program.

What Does the Internship Program Offer?
Successful candidates will spend 10 weeks working with the content strategy teams.
You will be paid for the duration of your internship. The internship begins on Monday, June 7th and ends Friday, August 13 th .

What are we looking for in an Intern
Enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program
Ability to work autonomously
Candidate should be able to communicate in a clear, professional, and effective manner with teams’ members, both internal and external
Candidate will interact with several external team members from survey participants, to reviews and authors and should be comfortable doing so.
An ability to diagnose issues and identify the steps to correct them will be key
Prioritization skills
Skilled with Microsoft Office, Teams, Outlook, Excel, and ability to learn new data entry and management systems quickly including Oracle Business Suite
An organized team player who can manage multiple tasks
Interest in educational product and content creation
Min 3.0 GPA
Graduation date between 2022 and 2023
Job description
Overall Responsibilities:
Intern will coordinate market research, peer review, and student insight into a variety of digital product and content experiences ranging from text, art, video, multimedia, virtual labs, and simulations, to online homework and problem sets for a higher education student audience.
Provide valuable input on defining and developing products. * Use research, digital experience, and analytics to propose product strategy * Identify which customers to target/key jobs to be done * Evaluate competitive products
Coordinate and manage in partnership with Content & Product Managers the review process for new content and capabilities. These responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Sending out surveys, writing questionnaires, setting up focus groups with qualified faculty and students
- Collating survey results
Assist with organizing internal communications and planning for product initiatives. Will be working with technical and customer facing teams, helping to collect feedback, organize and share data through customized dashboards and reports. Provide help with establishing tools and processes for improved content management and information sharing across the organization.
