The Medical Assistant will be responsible for assisting the provider of an ambulatory health care site with facilitation of patient visit and procedures, routine laboratory tests, referrals, and quality outcomes for the population of the practice. Prepare exam rooms and treatment areas for patient use including required cleaning and stocking of supplies, room patients and manage an efficient flow of provider’s caseload, obtain necessary vital signs, EKGs, and/or specimen collection, documentation of care using the EPIC EMR system.
